Since leaving school Graham has always had a fascination with anything mechanical be thus leaving school at 16 and undertaking an indentured apprenticeship with a Scania truck agent working on trucks, trailers and plant. Whilst completing the apprenticeship, Graham also complete ONC and HNC Mechanical Engineering day release. This then lead onto completing a Mechanical Engineer (Hons) degree with employment thereafter within a Caterpillar dealership for 8 years working in Europe, Africa and Russia. He took over CBW in 2002 where he put all his worldly experience to great use in developing the growth of the business to its current position. This then lead to the purchase of Yaxley Coachworks in late 2012 to make the Group on of the largest in the country providing specialist repairs to the CV market.
Andrew started his career in similar fashion to Graham with an Engineering apprenticeship with-in the RMC engineering division and then a full time Mechanical Engineering degree. Post grad positions followed with Redland and Ibstock and General Manager at Seaborne Plastics. Andrew then took over CBW in 2002 after Graham persuaded him to join forces in developing the Company to what it is today.
Bill has over 22 years experience within the commercial vehicle repair trade which started with two years at a Commercial Mercedes Benz dealer in Peterborough. He was then approached by Yaxley Coachworks Ltd in 1993 and stayed until 2006 and during his time there he earned promotions through the ranks to General Manager / Director. Whilst running Yaxley Coachworks he was pleased to be winner of the “Bodyshop of the year award” and honour that was well deserved.
Between 2006 and 2008 Bill worked as a consulting Engineer for himself and also for an accident management company where he negotiated End Of Lease costs for a number of Supermarkets and other blue-chip companies, assessed and agreed accident repair costs and also provided in house training to the mobile engineers.
In March 2008 Bill joined CBW as Operations Manager a role that has seen him develop and been instrumental in maintaining and growing the business to its current position today as one of the regions premier Refrigerated repair centres. This has been substantiated by being awarded Schmitz Cargobull “Service Partner of the Year” recently.
